Rohto Mentholatum Nepal Pvt. Ltd is subsidiaries of Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Japan,. Rohto is a multi-national corporation producing pharmaceutical, cosmetic and health care products. Established in 1899, Rohto currently operate Subsidiaries Company in Asia, America, Europe and Africa. Rohto’s products are available in 120 countries and loved by millions of customers. . In Nepal, Rohto-Mentholatum Nepal was established in 2018 AD and is currently manufacturing the skin care and cosmetic products like face wash, sunscreen, acnes treatment solutions and so on.
Following up Rohto group’s aim to “support society, and maintain global health for the future “, Rohto Mentholatum Nepal has been continuously contributing back to the uplifment of people and society of Nepal. With children being the future of the society, country or world as a whole, Rohto has been focusing on the child welfare and upliftment of the lives of the vulnerable people.
On 24th September 2022, Rohto supported for the establishment of Community Library, “Junbesi Community Library and Research Center” in Junbesi, SoluDudhkunda Municipality, Solukhumbu, Province no.1, Nepal.
The project aims to improve the quality of the community library. The library is not limited to books but also is facilitated with computer, internet and comfortable furniture’s. The Community Library has various section like main library section, children section, women section, IT section, youth section, training hall to accommodate 800 unique readers both children and adult in community.
This project is in association with Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA), an International non-governmental organization from Japan working in the field of education, Government of Japan and other generous donors.
This Community Library was handed over to the local management on 24th of September 2022 at Junbesi. The program was attended by Local Parliamentarian, Mayor of Solududhkunda Municipality, representatives of the donors, children’s and local people. The children, local committee expressed happiness and gratitude towards to all donors of this project. Representative of Rohto-Mentholatum Nepal, Mr. Srijan Shrestha, attended to share the joy of community and to express ROHTO aim to support society, and maintain global health for the future.
