Rohto Mentholatum Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (“Rohto Nepal”), a leading Japanese pharmaceutical and cosmetics company, proudly celebrated its 5^th Year Anniversary with a grand ceremony held at Kathmandu Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu on 19^th June 2024. The celebration marked a significant milestone in Rohto Nepal’s journey, showcasing its commitment to excellence and innovation in the skincare and cosmetics industry and earning the trust and loyalty of consumers across the country.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Mr. Damodar Bhandari, as the chief guest, esteemed guests, Mr. Kunio Yamada, Chairman & CEO of Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Japan, along with other distinguished members of the Board of Directors, key stakeholders, partners, and employees.

On this occasion, Rohto Nepal expressed their gratitude by felicitating number of stakeholders for their unwavering support and contributions over the past five years. Company also presented with Rohto Honor to Late Mr. Pradip Mandal, one of the founding Directors of the company for his extraordinary and high-level contribution to the company.

Company also signed 2 MOUs during this event. The First MOU was signed with Bhanubhakta Memorial School, for the scholarship program to the needy and bona fide girl students. This initiative aims to address gender inequality in Nepal through education, empowerment, advocacy, and community engagement. This scholarship is provided as an Environment, Society and Health (ESH) initiatives of the company.

Similarly, the Second MOU, was signed for the partnership with the Herbal Entrepreneurs’ Association of Nepal. The main objective of this partnership was to identify herbs and incorporate natural resources into skincare and eye care product development in Nepal.

Mr. Kunio Yamada, Chairman & CEO of Rohto Japan, expressed his gratitude towards the Governments of Nepal and Japan, Nepali consumers, stakeholders, employees, people and society for their continued support and cooperation.
