Monsoon is the peak season for mosquito-borne diseases in Nepal. With the objective to educate and raise awareness among school children about mosquito-borne diseases like Dengue and Malaria, etc., Rohto Mentholatum Nepal organized a Health Awareness Program against Mosquito-Borne Diseases for the students of Bhanubhakta Memorial School as part of our Environment, Society & Health (ESH) initiative. The awareness session was organized in association with Nepal Mediciti Hospital, led by Dr. Shobha Sapkota, Consultant- Pediatrics and Neonatology, focusing on their causes, symptoms, and preventive measures. To support preventive action, Rohto distributed its product- REMOS, mosquito repellent, to all students, teachers, and staff members—reinforcing our commitment to public health and safety. We’re grateful to Dr. Sapkota, Nepal Mediciti and Bhanubhakta Memorial School for their support in making this initiative impactful and meaningful. As a part of this initiative, today we organized a Workshop on Mental Health Awareness, Stress Management, and Work-Life Balance for our employees. This workshop was designed to serve as a platform to learn the valuable insights about the aforementioned topic, including awarness about mental health, how to identify symptoms and causes of stress, tools to handle and manage stress and practical strategies to maintain work-life balance. [16 May, 2023, Banepa] Rohto Mentholatum Nepal organized Tree Plantation Program as a part of its ESH (Environment, Social and Health) program. The project aimed to make positive impact to the environment. The program is a testament to the company's dedication to sustainability and its mission to create a greener future.
